As a Software Quality Engineer in the Automotive Quality Team, you will be responsible for managing the communication with customers for all issues that are reported to TomTom.

As a Software Quality Engineer in the Automotive Quality Team, you will be responsible for managing the communication with customers for all issues that are reported to TomTom. Ensures the interface between the customer and the TomTom teams. Facilitates the different analysis and ensures that the action plans are implemented in a timely manner. Being capable to challenge the TomTom technical teams and review the SW code with customers if needed.

What you’ll do

  • Manages communication with customers (English) for any customer request or complaint about products or services in mass production.
  • Manages the treatment of issues (SW, HW, maps, and services) with TomTom teams. Being capable to dig in technical details
  • Drives the 8D analysis with all stakeholders and validates the outcomes before releasing to customers
  • Analyze the customer KPI and drives improvement action plans
  • Reports to the customer the progress of the analysis in a structured way.
  • Prepares and participates to the Customer Analysis Reviews
  • Supports the project team in the product launch phases
  • Reports internally on a monthly basis on customer KPI and on the progress of the action plans.


What you’ll need 

  • Experience in managing good relationships with business customers.  
  • Experience in managing the communication between our internal (TomTom Business units) and external stakeholders (customers).
  • Software engineering background (minimum 3 years)
  • Ability to understand and guide customers with any problems and obstacles.
  • Leadership skills to convince the team to take action in any difficult situation.
  • Excellent collaborative and communication skills in English (German is a plus).
