Incooling creates next-generation phase change cooling systems dedicated to maximising the efficiency and performance potential of the data centre industry. With a mission to cool down the planet one server at a time, we are striving for making a positive and long-lasting impact.
What will you be doing?
During your internship at Incooling you will be part of the team that is developing the next generation cooling systems for the data centre industry. Depending on your interest and knowledge, there is the opportunity to support a wide range of engineering activities like finding issues, root cause analysis, designing experiments, testing for validation and implementing design changes at the component or system level.
The exact scope of the internship assignment and the duration can be determined and further discussed based on the student’s interests.
What do we require from you?
You are a student in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems and Control or similar fields. It is preferred that you are in in your final year of your Master’s or Bachelors. You will need to have some basic experience with Rapid prototyping techniques, and you are able to conduct experiments to test ideas and improvements.
At Incooling we are trying to cool down the planet one server at a time, so you will need some solid understanding of heat transfer and thermodynamics. Experience with 3D CAD modelling is preferred.
