Incooling creates next-generation phase change cooling systems dedicated to maximising the efficiency and performance potential of the data centre industry. With a mission to cool down the planet one server at a time, we are striving for making a positive and long-lasting impact.
Mechanical/Electrical Engineer Intern
This role involves working directly with some of the main projects within the company which is why we are looking for an individual with knowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering with a focus on experimental studies in thermal management. You would be working on testing and analysing some of the key components including heat exchangers, heat pumps and work on small scale prototyping.
The exact scope of the internship assignment and the duration can be determined and further discussed based on the student’s interests.
What do we require from you?
You are a student in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems and Control or similar fields. It is preferred that you are in in your final year of your Master’s or Bachelors. You will need to have some basic experience with natural convection systems, airflow thermal management and natural convection for refrigeration systems in the data centres industry.
At Incooling we are trying to cool down the planet one server at a time,so you will need some solid understanding of heat transfer and thermodynamics. Experience with 3D CAD modelling and knowledge is Ansys software is preferred.
