For the expansion of our team we are currently looking for a physicist/scientist that has experience with data analysis & running computer simulations to develop the optimal geometry of our product and then also is part of the team designing and validating it.

About Dynaxion

Dynaxion is a startup company based at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven creating a next-generation security screening solution based on a new type of particle accelerator. This combined with a novel detection system and the latest software tools based on artificial intelligence (AI), the content of parcels and luggage is inspected up to the atomic level. Responsibilities include:

  • Analysis and design of the new scanner using several simulation software packages.
  • Generate new IP based on the outcome of the simulations.
  • Validation of the simulations with experimental data & tests.
  • Setting up the experimental environment for the prototype system.

Qualifications:

  • MsC or PhD in Physics. Additional knowledge of particle, accelerator & detector physics is highly preferred.
  • Good programming skills of scientific code, experience with C++ / C# is preferred.
  • Previous experience with Geant4, Allpix2 or MCNP is desirable.
  • Good verbal and written communication in English.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
