C++ Application Engineer, Autonomous Driving

What you’ll do :

  • Be part of our multi-disciplinary technology validation team that develops concept-of-operations prototypes of new features developed for automated driving applications. The team builds our own test vehicle to validate our new features / technology.
  • In the team, you will be one of the engineers with competence to pick up the C++ generic engineering activities for the in-car concept prototypes that connect to the real-time map delivery product, called Autostream.
  • You will be part of international partner programs where research and industry partner cooperate closely together to develop cutting edge automated driving solutions.
  • You will realise innovative in-car solutions using C++ or Java and working in sprints of 2 or 3 weeks.
  • You will use modern tools for requirements management (Jira Portfolio), version control (Bitbucket, Perforce), continuous integration (Jenkins), continuous delivery (DevOps), issue tracking (Jira), test automation (e.g., Squish), test management (Jira XRay), etc.

What you’ll need:

  • Around 5 years of C++ programming experience
  • Working experience as part of a self-organising Scrum team in an Agile environment
  • Ambition to develop yourself in a technical lead position supporting the process to create a roadmap and plan for the development of a product based on the outcomes of a concept-of-operations prototype

What’s nice to have:

  • Additional programming experience with Java and Python
  • Experience with artificial-intelligence techniques
