Woensdag 2 december a.s. bereikt de ombouw van de Randweg Eindhoven een nieuwe mijlpaal: de krappe verbindingsboog van 's-Hertogenbosch/ Nijmegen naar de richting Maastricht/Venlo/Antwerpen in knooppunt Batadorp wordt buitengebruik gesteld. Het verkeer wordt in de loop van de nacht van dinsdag op woensdag omgezet naar de nieuwe weg. Met deze omzetting veranderen diverse verkeersbewegingen:

• Verkeer vanuit de richting 's-Hertogenbosch naar de richting Maastricht/ Venlo hoeft tussen knooppunt Ekkersweijer en knooppunt Batadorp niet meer rechts uit te voegen, maar blijft rechtdoor rijden. Verkeer met bestemming A58 richting Tilburg moet dan wel rechts uitvoegen

• Verkeer vanuit de richting Nijmegen/Ekkersrijt naar Maastricht/Venlo dient tussen knooppunt Ekkersweijer en knooppunt Batadorp links uit te voegen. Verkeer met bestemming A58 richting Tilburg blijft rechtdoor rijden. 

Dringend advies:
• Rijdt niet op de "automatische piloot";
• Rijdt niet op uw gevoel;
• Zet uw navigatiesysteem uit

Wees alert, let op de verkeersborden en volg deze borden!!!

Medio december 2009 wordt vanaf knooppunt Batadorp het noord - zuid verkeer gescheiden in lokaal verkeer en doorgaand verkeer. Hierover volgt binnenkort meer informatie.

On Wednesday 2 December 2009 the road works on the Eindhoven circular will reach another milestone: the tight loop at the Batadorp junction that takes traffic from 's- Hertogenbosch/Nijmegen towards Maastricht/Venlo/Antwerp will cease to be used.

Traffic will be directed onto the new road overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday. A number of traffic flows will change as a result of this:

• Traffic coming from 's-Hertogenbosch and travelling towards Maastricht/Venlo will no longer have to filter right between the Ekkersweijer and the Batadorp junctions, but will continue straight ahead instead. Traffic heading for the A58 in the direction of Tilburg will, however, have to filter right.
• Traffic coming from Nijmegen/Ekkersrijt and heading towards Maastricht/Venlo will have to filter left between the Ekkersweijer and Batadorp junctions. Traffic travelling towards the A58 in the direction of Tilburg will continue straight ahead.

RWS strongly recommends:
• Do not drive on "auto pilot";
• Think ahead and leave nothing to chance;
• Switch off your sat nav system

Remain alert, watch the road signs and obey them!!!

With effect from mid December 2009 the north-south traffic will be separated at the Batadorp junction into local traffic and through traffic. You will receive further information about this in due course.
