New Texas Instruments office at High Tech Campus
Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) opened the doors to their new office in the BéTA Technology & Business Accelerator Center at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven. "Right in the heart of innovation" says Thijs Tullemans, Regional Sales Manager TI Benelux.
The High Tech Campus site is the third office of TI in the Benelux, besides Utrecht and Brussels.

Indian auto industry shows interest in Brabant
Brabant – the gateway to the European market, the place to be for working on technical innovations and, last but certainly not least, the region to train automotive specialists. It has become clear to the Indian automotive industry that there is much to be gained in Brabant, as was evident from the responses at a seminar hosted by BOM Foreign Investments last week in Pune in India.

BBCA to serve Europe from Brabant
BBCA Biochemical is set to undertake its European distribution activities from Brabant. The Chinese company is the world's biggest producer of citric acid, which is used by leading brands in both the foodstuffs industry and elsewhere. It is a subsidiary of Cofco, well-known as one of the most prominent companies in China and also one of the country's largest with a workforce of 9,000. The arrival of BBCA in Brabant once again underscores the favourable climate for food industry companies when it comes to setting up a shop in the region.

Wistron acquires Polymer Vision
Polymer Vision announced it is now a division within Wistron's Mobile Business Group and has restarted operation immediately. The team will continue to focus on the research and development of its unique rollable display and take it to mass production, fast tracked with added support from Wistron's R&D resources and supply chain partners. BOM praised at launch new production line Coca-Cola
Secretary of State for Economic Affairs Frans Heemskerk officially opened the wholly new Coca-Cola Enterprises Nederland can production line in the Brabant town of Dongen on 7 October. He took the opportunity in his opening speech to praise the Brabant Development Agency's role in bringing about the expansion of Coca-Cola's production capacity. "In doing this, the BOM has demonstrated that attention is not only focused on bring new foreign companies to the region, but also on assisting those already here," Heemskerk said.

30% tax ruling for expats Special feature
In order to attract foreign companies and their employees to The Netherlands, a beneficial tax facility has been introduced in Dutch tax law: the 30%-ruling. By benefiting from this tax incentive, either the tax burden for the employee or the cost for the employer can be reduced. Iron Mountain expands its Benelux activities
Iron Mountain is extending its presence in the Benelux region through the opening of a new Records Center. The new building in Kraaiven Business Park in Tilburg is expected to be up and running by February next year. The new Records Center will initially hold 8,605 square meters of storage space, with another 350 square meters devoted to offices. The company also has an option on an additional 6,700 square meters. These new premises allow Iron Mountain to cater to the growing demand for reliable information and document management services.
