Werkzaamheden A2/A67 nabij knooppunt Leenderheide - vanaf 2 november tot medio februari 2010.

Informatie van RWS over de samenhangende wijzigingen voor het verkeer op de A2 komende vanuit het zuiden uit de richting Weert/Maastricht.

Eerder was er sprake van dat de afsluiting van de A67 en de nieuwe situatie op maandag 2 november om 06.00 uur zou ingaan. Deze verandering is echter niet te realiseren op een bepaald tijdstip; daarvoor is het gehele weekend van 31 oktober/1 november nodig.

De omzettingen gebeuren in fases: 

• Van zaterdag 31 oktober 15.00 uur tot 19.00 uur is op de A67 de afrit bij Leenderheide vanuit de richting Geldrop/Venlo afgesloten. Verkeer wordt omgeleid via de Aansluiting High Tech Campus (Afrit 32a). Vanaf deze datum gaat de oprit (vanaf de Campus) naar de richting Leenderheide weer open. De afrit 32a vanuit de richting knooppunt de Hogt gaat in het weekend van 15 november open.
• Van zaterdag 31 oktober 19.00 uur tot medio februari 2010 is de A67 ter hoogte van Leenderheide vanuit de richting Geldrop/Venlo afgesloten. Verkeer wordt via het verkeersplein geleid.
• Vanaf zondag 1 november 04.00 uur tot medio februari 2010 rijdt het verkeer op de A2 komende uit de richting Weert/Maastricht grotendeels vóór het verkeersplein Leenderheide langs.

Automobilisten op de A2 vanuit het zuiden hebben vanaf zondag 1 november 04.00 uur drie keuzes:

1. Verkeer met bestemming de Leenderweg, Aalsterweg, Waalre of High Tech Campus Eindhoven: via verkeersplein Leenderheide (voor Leenderheide rechts uitvoegen!)
2. Verkeer met bestemming Eindhoven-West, Veldhoven, Eindhoven Airport, industrieterreinen de Hurk en de Run, via de nieuwe hoofdrijbanen vóór het verkeersplein Leenderheide langs (voor Leenderheide doorgaande rijstroken blijven volgen) daarna tussen de knooppunten Leenderheide en de Hogt via een tijdelijke slinger in de weg naar de parallelrijbaan en vervolgens de gewenste afrit;
3. Doorgaand verkeer met bestemming buiten de regio Eindhoven (o.a. richting Antwerpen, Tilburg, 's-Hertogenbosch, Nijmegen) via de nieuwe hoofdrijbanen vóór het verkeersplein Leenderheide langs, op de hoofdrijbaan blijven rijden en bij knooppunt de Hogt (Eersel, Antwerpen) of knooppunt Batadorp (overige bestemmingen) de gewenste richting nemen.
   

Dringend advies:
• Rijd niet op de "automatische piloot";
• Rijd niet op uw gevoel;
• Zet uw navigatiesysteem uit!

Wees alert, let op de verkeersborden en volg deze!

Ter informatie is een visualisatie bijgevoegd van de verkeerssituatie tussen knooppunt Leenderheide en knooppunt de Hogt zoals die vanaf zondag 1 november 2009 04.00 uur tot medio februari 2010 in gebruik wordt genomen.

Road works on A2/A67 in the vicinity of the Leenderheide junction – from 2 November until mid February 2010.

Earlier it was thought that the closure of the A67 and the implementation of the new situation would take place on Monday 2 November at 06.00 hours. However, the necessary changes cannot be made at a set moment in time, and it is going to take the entire weekend of the 31 October/1 November.

The changes will be carried out in phases:

• From Saturday 31 October 15.00 hours to 19.00 hours the Leenderheide exit on the A67 will be closed to traffic coming from the direction of Geldrop/Venlo. Traffic will be diverted via the High Tech Campus exit (32a). On this date the slip road for traffic (from the Campus) to join the motorway in the direction of Leenderheide will then be reopened. The exit (32a) for traffic coming from the direction of the de Hogt junction will be opened during the weekend of 15 November.
• From Saturday 31 October 19.00 hours to mid February 2010 the A67 at Leenderheide will be closed to traffic coming from the direction of Geldrop/Venlo. Traffic will be re-routed via the intersection.
• From Sunday 1 November 04.00 hours to mid February 2010 most of the traffic on the A2 coming from the direction of Weert/Maastricht will bypass the Leenderheide intersection.

From Sunday 1 November 04.00 hours there will be three options for drivers on the A2 coming from the south:

1. Traffic heading for the Leenderweg, Aalsterweg, Waalre or High Tech Campus Eindhoven will travel via the Leenderheide intersection (filter right for Leenderheide!)
2. Traffic heading for Eindhoven-West, Veldhoven, Eindhoven Airport, de Hurk and de Run industrial estates will follow the new main carriageway and bypass the Leenderheide intersection (for Leenderheide stay on the main carriageway); between the Leenderheide and de Hogt junctions traffic will then follow a temporary bend in the road to join the parallel carriageway and then take the required exit;
3. Through traffic heading for destinations outside the Eindhoven region (including traffic travelling in the direction of Antwerp, Tilburg, 's-Hertogenbosch, Nijmegen) will follow the new main carriageways and bypass the Leenderheide intersection, continuing on the main carriageway and then heading in the required direction at the de Hogt junction (Eersel, Antwerp) or the Batadorp junction (other directions).

We strongly recommend you:
• Do not drive on "auto pilot";
• Think ahead and leave nothing to chance;
• Switch off your sat nav system!

Remain alert, watch the road signs and obey them!

For your information you will find attached an outline of the traffic situation that will prevail from 04.00 hours on Sunday 1 November 2009 to mid February 2010 between the Leenderheide junction and the de Hogt junction.
